Why should I practice Yoga?
Yoga is good for you on many levels. The Asana (physical poses) help to strengthen the body and increase flexibility. The breathing techniques we use help you to tune into your body and begin to notice things you may have glossed over before.
Yoga gives you the time to check in with yourself. If you have a regular practice this will begin to give you a better picture of your overall health and well-being.
It is also fascinating how our bodies and minds change on a daily basis. Yoga gives you the time to explore and connect with who you are at this current time. It can also be calming for the nervous system and so helps greatly with stress.
How much do the classes cost?
Prices vary depending on the location of the class, so please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org for further details or see my Homepage.
What should I wear?
Wear clothes that are comfortable and not too baggy or restricting in any way.
It is also a good idea to bring warm layers for the relaxation at the end.
If you have long hair, you may want to tie it up.
Does it matter I haven't done Yoga before?
Not at all! All my lessons are tailored to suit the individual. I will ask you to fill out a short health form on your first visit to get a better understanding of your needs and any health issue or injuries we need to work with.
When should I arrive?
Please arrive 15 minutes before for your first lesson to give you time to complete the health questionnaire. Then 10 minutes before each further lesson, so we can start the classes promptly.
I also advise you don't eat a heavy meal before class.
What do I need to Bring?
Please bring your own mat and a blanket to the classes in Saltford.
Let me know if you don't have a mat.
